^ Dizzy, if this is an example of you not being able to mix... I expect to be blown away when you can This is amazing.
I really liked the first version of this, and I like the way it has been improved here. Vocals (as always) are awesome, and the production really sets them off perfectly.
Very glad you noted me about this Brilliant song! Great collab

The contrast between the 2 styles so compliments each other..
I really like the slight effect on the rap vocals..
and D's voice is just stunning. Such a beatiful haunting melody.
Superb version..

Influential ideas always have a substance of their own, but y'all have created a well new style of music while putting an excellent emotional, insightful song into the world, so you've accomplished in one step what usually takes a movement, though on the slight scale of musical meshing.

I think this is my favourite song on dmusic at the moment. Diane your voice every time I hear it I just have to stop everything I'm doing and sit and listen. With this song I could really feel there had to be somethin different in the middle and Diz your rap just wiped me out bro. The lyrics that Diane sings at the start are so emotional and fuill of feeling and then you just like push it over the edge. You two ever think of doing this full time lol?

It wasn’t until my third or fourth listen through this that I was confident that the little stutter steps in the melody were intentional. Had it not been for the way the vocals remained smooth through some of them, I may never have known for sure. I have yet to really decide if I like them or not. Maybe I’d be quicker to consider them artsy if they were more overt, maybe even exaggerated a little, making the intent obvious.
There are a lot of interesting things happening “in the back of the mix”. The lyrics and their delivery...both sang and spoken...is spot-on. It has a nice, slinky yearning to it.

hmm agreed with Zed... I'm on the fence about the "stutter steps" as well. The contrast between the vox keeps this interesting throughout, and the piano and synth melodies are amazing, but I'd expect no less, considering the source. very cool to see all these styles come together like this.

It definitely comes off a bit Linkin Parkesque with the different styles in the vocals. I'm on board with the stutter steps comments as well, it didn't feel intentional at first.

Excellent collab.

Great instrumentation, especially during the fade-out.
Great vocals.
The only thing that bothered me was the repetitive melody. Slow tempos beg for variety in the melodic line.
One way to add variety is to introduce harmony vocals in later verses. I can hear a duet happening in the second verse and a trio in the third, but only as background, to keep the melody predominant.
Great stuff!

hey this is very chillout. i think the beat make it like that. good remix. your vocal as beautiful as always, smooth and pretty as you are like it very much. and the rap just perfect for this kind of tune, really. but more verse would be awesome. this is a new thing.

Mmmm, beatific beat in this one...that piano and all the synthy ambience effects make a top notch foundation for the low-key vocals. Almost spoken word, the way you sing this one. Pro flow, as well. Ok, so its kinda cheesy, but it's so well done that I can overlook the fact that you two seem to take yourselves too seriously
By the way, beautiful bend on the way out

Wow Diane, I've never heard your voice sound quite so achingly beautiful. I'm really suprised by how well this works, the rap is good, although I admit it's not really my thing. I like the sparseness of the beat - it sounds cool, but it still does it's job without intruding on the vocals. Lovely fadeout, btw, it sounds like you're floating up to heaven. Very good job you guys

Oh this is nice, very atmospheric!
The syths just take you right up to the clouds...
The contrast between the female vocals which seem full of despair and the male rap which is very edgy blends very well.
This is the ingredient for success, this is why groups like Evanescence sell 6 million CD's...
I just wished the track went on for another verse/chorus and maybe a real diverse bridge with strings and angelic choir harmonies...

What blows me away is the emotion this evokes from just a few intstruments, piano, drums, strings, and your haunting and simultaneously comforting vocals. The smooth rapping comes in so unexpectedly but at the same time, fittingly. Hot frickin' damn.

Not really my genre of music, but i will say this, your voice is very hypnotic, when i hear it i think of a sailor lost at sea and he hears your voice in the distance, like a siren or somthing, and the preformance by Diz was good, it helped mesh the 2 styles. very good song.

Diane I have been listening to this remix for 2 months now, and i now realized i must not be all the way there because i have not commented on this gorgeous track, and i thought i had did, i'm sorry. This is a brilliant remix. I am amazed. Dizeazed has done a fabulous job making a trip-hop remix for you. The skips, and perfect glitches are so kindred to hip-hop but still very much a golden rule intrip-hop and he has completely taken your and Josyph's beauty and magnizfied it in all of trip-hop's mysterious glory. This is an amazing big beat track, don't take this one down ever.

This is a very soothing track. I can definately listen to this as I am sleeping. Probably a stress-relieve solution. Jessurun, you've done a great role to this track. Your vocals is just as good as the creative melodies in the background. As for Dizeazed, He does alittle bit like Bow wow. But his flow and rhymes does make sense to the vibe of the beat. Overall, I'll give this a 8.5 out of 10.

This is fantastic! Yes, Eminem and Dido did it, but this has got more class and control in it's pace. Diane's voice is beautiful of course, but the effects on this are superb too. I like the electronic pulsing, it becomes very internal, like neurons in the brain. It's very haunting and sexy. Seatan rap is right on the button and also full of intense emotion, almost tortured.. The whole thing is very compelling and full of 'the night.'
